Background Information:
This amendment does the following:
1. Creates consistency throughout - - Any Board that has specific board positions now includes a summary chart that outlines each position. These include the Parking Advisory Board, Main Street Advisory Board, Citizen Utility Advisory Board (CUAB), and the Convention and Visitor Bureau (CVB) Board.
2. Sec. 2.172 (Parking) simply adds the summary chart of their composition, no changes
3. Sec. 2.211 (Main Street) includes a minor composition change but has been the practice of the board for many years. Five (5) members, instead of six (6), that must be residents, two (2) members, instead of three (3) may live outside the city limits but work and/or own a business in the city and one ex-officio city council member and one ex-officio Hays County official.
4. Sec. 2.271 (CUAB) simply adds the summary chart of their composition, no changes
5. Sec. 2.351 (CVB Board) adds the language within the summary chart that outlines which member are ex-officio and voting/non-voting member. This simply cleans up the summary chart
