Background Information:
On May 1, 2025, the City received one bid in response to Invitation for Bids (IFB) 2025-107 for Traffic Management Services. After consideration and acceptance of the bid received from Altus Traffic Management, LLC, dba AWP Safety located in Irving, Texas, the City is requesting approval of a five-year traffic control contract with Altus Traffic Management, LLC, dba AWP Safety through August 30, 2030.
The estimated not-to-exceed cost annually is $50,000 for a total of $250,000 for the total contract period.
The purpose of the contract is to provide traffic control and lane closures for high traffic areas during utility projects, to ensure the safety of utility workers and the public.
