Background Information:
An analysis of the Stormwater Utility rates for Fiscal Year 2023 was performed and the results indicated the need for a 6.5% rate increase to support capital and maintenance requirements.
Rates will be adjusted as follows:
• R1 - Small Residential - $8.59 to $9.14 (increase of 55¢ monthly)
• R2 - Medium Residential - $13.99 to $14.90 (increase of 91¢ monthly)
• R3 - Large Residential - $20.43 to $21.77 (increase of $1.34 monthly)
• NR - Non Residential - $13.99 to $14.90 (increase of 91¢ monthly)
The analysis also demonstrated the need for incremental increases in future years to support future capital and maintenance requirements. The Capital Improvement Program is constrained in the rate model at $6 million annually.
