Background Information:
The developer is proposing a Business Park. The zoning change request has been amended to reduce the area of rezoning and leave the “GC”, General Commercial area as is. The property is located in a Medium Intensity and Employment Area on the Preferred Scenario Map. The property is not located in the Flood Plain, Edwards Aquifer or Water Quality zones. The proposed development will comply with all Development Code requirements.
UPDATE: The applicant has submitted a letter amending their zoning change request to exclude the parcel zoned “GC” General Commercial from their request. The letter has been included in this agenda packet. It should be noted that the assessment given in the staff report reflects the originally submitted 7.52 acres, and not the revised boundary.
Council Committee, Board/Commission Action:
At their March 8, 2022 meeting, the Planning and Zoning Commission recommended approval of the request with a 9-0 vote.
