Background Information:
On May 3, 2022, Council approved contract award to Partners Remodeling Restoration & Weatherproofing from Austin, Texas for a not to exceed amount of $500,000 as the second responsible bidder in response to Concrete Construction Services IDIQ Invitation for Bid #222-089.
On June 30, 2022, Partners Remodeling Restoration & Weatherproofing requested to withdrawal their bid and reject contract award due to a company restructure and limited labor force. City staff recommends rejection of contract award in the not to exceed amount of $500,000 to Partners Remodeling Restoration & Weatherproofing for failure to honor bid for Concrete Construction Services IDIQ IFB #222-089.
City staff will submit recommendation of award to another contractor for this work in a following council meeting.
