Background Information:
The Police Department is purchasing a total of ten (10) 2019 Dodge Charger Pursuit Vehicles from Grapevine Dodge Chrysler Jeep for the Police Department in the total amount of $250,080.00. This is equal to approximately $25,008.00 per vehicle. This purchase is made with Grapevine Dodge Chrysler Jeep through Texas Local Government Purchasing Cooperative (“BuyBoard”) contract #521-16 for vehicles, heavy duty trucks, police motorcycles, parts and service labor. This process is authorized by Texas Government Code, Title 10, Subtitle D, Section 2155-504(b) and the Local Government Code, Section 271.101.
All ten units are to replace the Ford Crown Victoria sedans.
