Background Information:
An analysis of the Resource Recovery Utility for fiscal year 2023 was performed and the results indicated the need for a 3% rate adjustment to both the single family and multifamily rates, and a temporary increase of $1.00 monthly per account. The rate adjustments cover the increased contracted costs passed through from our service provider and will also fund additional personnel to support the expansion of operating hours at the Household Hazardous Waste Dropoff Facility. The temporary $1.00 monthly increase is intended to remain through the end of fiscal year 2023.
