Background Information:
In accordance with Texas Local Government Code Chapter 395, Section 395.053, the San Marcos City Council shall adopt an order to establish a Public Hearing on August 5th on an Update and Amendment of the Water and Wastewater Impact Fees of the City of San Marcos and associated Land Use Assumptions and Capital Improvement Plan. This action is taking place within 120 days after receiving updates of the land use assumptions and the capital improvement plans made available on the City website.
This action follows a very stringent timeline established by the Texas Local Government Code for updating and amending Impact Fees.
