Background Information:
From Mayor Hughson:
A couple of years ago a few mayors from the Hill Country decided to get together to discuss issues of mutual interest. I was able to attend the first two meetings, but due to schedule conflicts, I could not attend another meeting until September 25.
The group includes the counties as defined by the existing Hill Country Alliance, cities who have participated in meetings are marked with an asterisk:

3. Blanco (*Johnson City, *Blanco)
4. Burnet (Burnet, *Double Horn, *Granite Shoals, *Highland Haven, *Marble Falls, Meadowlakes, etc)
5. Comal (New Braunfels, *Bulverde, *Garden Ridge, *Spring Branch. etc)
6. Edwards (Rocksprings)
7. Gillespie (*Fredericksburg)
8. Hays (Dripping Springs, *Buda, *Kyle, Wimberley, *Woodcreek, *San Marcos)
