Background Information:
The purpose of this emergency project (222-250) is address leaks to City owned T-hangars at 1829, 1831 and 1833 Airport Drive. After a severe rainstorm on June 27, 2022 with sustained winds of 30-40MPH, existing minor leaks increased significantly. Delaying the roof replacement could result in damage to office space, equipment, parts, and tenant fixtures. Funds for maintenance of these facilities comes from the airport CIP.
Pursuant to Local Government Code 271.102 which authorizes the City to participate in cooperative purchasing programs, staff recommends award of this work to Sullivan Contracting Services, Seguin, TX, in the amount of $101,277.77 through the Choice Partners Contract #21/039MR-14 for JOC Construction.
