San Marcos Electric Utility Master Plan
Background Information:
On October 19, 2023, the City received one (1) proposal in response to RFP 223-269 for SCADA SMTXU. After thorough evaluation by a City-staffed team of subject matter experts, the City has elected to move forward with a contract with Survalent Technology, Inc.
Following an extensive negotiation phase, the City requests approval of Contract, 223-269, for Electric SCADA, SMTXU. SMTXU Electric SCADA system will help the utility embrace Smart Grid technologies and allow the utility to better serve its customers. This system will provide information and control our local grid in real time, store data for future planning needs, and through coordination with other solutions, be able to help reduce outage times for our customers.
Initial implementation total includes SCADA Licenses, Engineering, Configuration, Project Management, Installation, Commissioning, On-site support, and Training.

Additional Platinum Technical Support and Software Upgrade for five (5) optional, one (1) year renewals to be added post installation on the anniversary of complete Installation and Final Acceptance as follows:
