Background Information:
The purpose of this Reimbursement Agreement between the City and Astound Telecommunications is to relocate an underground ductbank owned by Astound and to allow for the installation of a concrete trapezoidal channel. This channel is proposed as part of the Briarwood and River Ridge Drainage Improvement project and is proposed to convey runoff into a box storm sewer system and eventually into a downstream detention pond.
The cost of the Astound ductbank relocation is estimated at $120,988.24 and is to be installed by a contractor hired by Astound. After this relocation project is complete, the City will then have the capability of installing the proposed concrete channel at a future date.
