Background Information:

During the May 4 Work Session City Council was briefed regarding the proposed ILA/MOU to be considered on May 18, 2021.  City Council provided direction to move forward but requested the following:

That public safety be listed and considered the first priority in the listing of the following “Values”: public safety, environmental conservation, public safety, historic preservation, and public recreation.

To insert language that ensured that the City was not bound to expend funds.  This has been accomplished in Section 2.6.

Council requested that the Blanco Gardens and Wallace Addition neighborhoods be prioritized during public engagement phases 1 and 2.

Additionally, Section 2.8 has also been added to ensure that periodic updates and presentations regarding major milestones are provided to both Parties.
