Background Information:
An aging and deteriorated sewer line along Feltner Alley between San Antonio and MLK Drive is in need of replacement. The sewer main is currently undersized based on current design standards and has suffered a number of blockages due to its condition in recent years. This project will replace the sewer line.
On October 14, 2021, two bids were received for Feltner Alley WW Line Improvement Project IFB 221-209. The apparent low bidder failed to comply with the bidding requirements by failing to provide a Bid Bond and is therefore deemed nonresponsive. Award is recommended to the lowest responsible bidder, Cedar Hills Construction, LLC, from Leander, Texas in the amount of $345,842.00. Construction is anticipated to last three months weather permitting.
