Consider approval of Resolution 2024-113R, approving a developer participation agreement with Palace Way Partners, LLC, providing for the city to participate in the cost of extending wastewater infrastructure to provide additional capacity to the airport and fire training facility properties in an amount not to exceed $450,000.00 but no more than 50 percent of the construction cost for the project; authorizing the City Manager, or her designee, to execute said agreement on behalf of the city; and declaring an effective date.

Wastewater Master Plan
Background Information:
The Palace Way Subdivision, which proposes uses consisting of Manufactured Housing and Light Industrial, is located near the airport between State Highway 21 and Farm to Market Road 110. The development is proposing to extend wastewater service from and through the airport to serve the development. Staff has requested to cost participate in this extension beyond what is necessary for the Palace Way Subdivision to provide additional capacity for the Airport as well as the Fire Training Facility property. The City’s cost participation is in an amount not to exceed $450,000.00, but no more than 50% of the construction costs of the project.
This project will expand the City’s wastewater service and support growth for the Airport and surrounding areas.
