Background Information:
In 2020, the City Council allocated $268,000 to Centro Cultural Hispano de San Marcos for renovation of the following items:
• AC/Heating Update
• Doors
• Windows
• Hallway Corridor Construction
• Asbestos Abatement
• Flooring for Abated Areas
Changes in administration and leadership, coupled with rising prices, have caused reconsideration of the project. The Board of Directors has now voted to request a change to the following instead:
• AC/Heating Update
• Roof Replacement
Staff considers this is a significant change to the project and is seeking City Council approval.
