Background Information:
Res. 2019-101R awarding a contract with GDS Associates, Inc. for a utility rate study was approved in a not to exceed amount of $80,000 on June 4, 2019. The term of the agreement noted in the executed contract is an initial two-year term with six additional one-year extensions, approved administratively.
Res. 2020-226R approving a change in service to the agreement increasing the contract amount to $142,000 was adopted on October 20, 2020.
The total contract amount is for the full eight years is $183,000. This resolution provides the additional $41,000 needed to complete the Cost of Service study currently underway,
the FY26 rate study currently underway, and the FY27 utility rate studies. Approval will fund the remaining scope and term of the contract.
