Vision San Marcos - A River Runs Through Us

Background Information:

The approximate 176.5 acres is located north of State Highway 21, east of the railroad, south of the Blanco River, and west of an established subdivision. Zoning is not proposed with this annexation; Future Development “FD” is the default zoning district for any annexed property unless zoned otherwise. The site is located within the Low Intensity and Open Space preferred scenario types in the 2013 Comprehensive Plan. This land is city-owned and intended for future master planning as a public park. An annexation service agreement is attached. The City of San Marcos is the water and wastewater provider, and Pedernales co-operative will provide electric service.
