Background Information:

The City of San Marcos is authorized through Local Government Code, Chapter 271, and by the “Interlocal Cooperation Act”, Texas Government Code, Chapter 791, to participate in cooperative purchasing programs with other governmental agencies to increase efficiency and effectiveness of local government procurement and contracting.

 

This interlocal agreement between the City of San Marcos and the City of Euless will allow the City to enter into its own agreement with Emergicon for Fire and Emergency Medical Services Billing and Collections. The Emergicon contract follows this item on the agenda for City Council review and approval.
