Wastewater Master Plan
Background Information:
The new FM 1978 Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) will receive sewage from the collection system prior to it being fully operational for processing and treatment. It will be necessary to pump and haul raw sewage from the FM 1978 WWTP to the existing COSM WWTP to be treated according to regulatory standards. The headworks receiving station at the WWTP is not currently capable of receiving this sewage and needs rehabilitation. The proposal from Jacobs includes the demolition and removal of the existing equipment, the installation of new equipment, SCADA integration, and support services from Jacobs. The estimated total time and materials price of this scope is $430,034.96. The current contract for operation, maintenance, and management of the WWTP, which was established through a formal solicitation process, includes this scope of work. It is considered out of scope only for the current CIP C727 project.
