Background Information:
Nine (9) bids were received on March 20th, 2025 for the Police Station Improvements Project IFB #2025-056. The City has reviewed the bids and the Design Architect, FGM Architects Inc., recommends awarding the contract to the lowest responsible bidder, Falkenberg Construction located out of San Marcos, Texas in the amount of $938,153.70.
This project proposes to install a prefabricated metal building at the PD SWAT/Annex building, complete reconstruction of the PD driving/training track, site prep at the shooting range for installation of the previously approved bullet containment trap, installed by Action Target, as well as the installation of approximately 260LF of conduit to provide power to the new swing gates installed with the Wonder World Industrial project.
