Background Information:

Council previously authorized updates to the Ordinance related to animal services. After operating according to the new ordinance, staff identified needed updates related to the five-day stray hold on all cats. The Council Committee on Animal Services considered input from staff and has recommended minor updates to the ordinance.

The Council Committee on Animal Services requested staff bring back an ordinance to remove the 5-day stray hold on all cats.
