Background Information:
The City Council met in executive session on October 1, 2018 to discuss the appointment of the City Judge. The recommendation was to appoint the new City Judge to a 2 year term whereas the Judge would become a city employee at the rate of $49.50 per hour. The judge will be required to work 30 hours per week. The Judge will be eligible to have the following benefits: retirement, health insurance, accrued vacation and sick leave.
