Background Information:
In July 2018 the Federal Aviation Administration announced $1 Billion of discretionary funding for minor airports as part of the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2018. The award of a grant is for projects that have already been through the planning, environmental, and design processes with priority given to airport runways, taxiways, and aprons. The City has programmed in its CIP for major taxiway repairs to replace it's failing surfaces with construction scheduled for 2021-2023.
