Background Information:

The City Manager, with the City Attorney’s support agree with the recommendation to improve efficiencies and streamline procurement and contracting for expenditures not exceeding $50,000.  This revision to the ordinance would allow the City Manager to delegate concurrent approval to contract for good and services as described in the attached memo from the Finance Division, Purchasing Office.
