Consider approval of Resolution 2026-84R, approving an Interlocal Agreement with Pool Members, through the Texas Municipal League Intergovernmental Risk Pool, to acquire and access Group Critical Illness Coverage for qualifying retired firefighters and peace officers as required by House Bill 4144, passed in the 89th Texas Legislative session; authorizing the City Manager, or her designee, to execute said agreement and other documents necessary to acquire the coverage on behalf of the city; and declaring an effective date.
